Remembering survivors of fallen heroes during the holidays

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5 last week hosted its annual survivors holiday breakfast for families whose loved ones died in the line of duty in recent years.

Besides breakfast, survivors received flowers and baskets filled with food for the holidays.

Lodge 5 president John McNesby was joined by Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw and state Attorney General and Democratic candidate for governor Josh Shapiro.

The Rev. Steve Wetzel, the FOP chaplain, offered an invocation.

Lodge 5 has lost five officers to the coronavirus. ••
